A Fitness Journey- Pictures

Jorie has taken Gina Aliotti’s tips and suggestions to heart, and is in the process of changing up her diet and workout routine.

To give everyone an idea of where she is, Jorie has decided to post her first pictures as she begins her fitness transformation. As most of us viewing these pictures can see, Jorie is in tremendous shape. But she’s looking for more. Here’s to watching her succeed.

————————————————————————————————–

I was definitely dreading taking the initial progress pictures.

I already knew, of course, I had a lot of work that needed to be done: EVERYWHERE.

My legs in particular… are well, lets just say curvaceous to the max. Beyonce can get paid for this… not many of us can too.

I knew taking these pictures, they’d likely be posted for the internet to see. And that is also a little intimidating.

My optimistic side says I can’t wait for the feedback! I know in particular the areas I “think” I should put more work into. BUT what if I’m over looking the details.

At this point, I generally, have work to do in all areas. However, as I progress, I want to make sure I’m doing so evenly. That my physique is developing proportionately.

And I hope as readers, you’ll help me out with encouragement, constructive criticism, and don’t let me overlook those areas I need work!!

Looking good. You’ve got a good base. With your body type I would recommend you stick with figure. Cuts looks good in the stomach. Will need some more lines and definition in your back and legs.

You’re working with a good base. Keep it up and you’ll rock.

  2. Jonathan says:

Cuts in the stomach are nice. Lower back looks good, need to work on upper.

    Hot tattoo!

  3. Paul says:

    Legs look good. Real tight.

    Figure right?

  4. Shawn says:

I’ve never done a fitness competition, never even been to one, but from here you look great! Wow.

Doesn’t look like you need any work at all.

    You new fan,

    Shawn.

    Jorie!

I am an aspiring competitor myself. You have given me hope! You’re taking the challenge head on.

Your start pics are sooooooo much better then mine. I wish I had abs like that.

  6. Jason says:

1st pic is amazing. 2nd is almost as great.

Need work on the next two.

    I’m sure you’ll get there!!!!

  7. Ravi says:

The second pic looks like something out of a fitness magazine. Where did you learn to pose like that?

I’m loving following along here. You’re going to go far.

  8. Kelly says:

Need the spray tan. That brings out the lines. I’m sure you’re well aware.

Btw, I think you were doing too much cardio on your workout routine. I guess Gina Aliotti knows best, but that’s my two cents.

    Will be following along.

      Hey there!
      Thanks for the input everybody.

I’ll definitely be needing it as I continue to progress. Tanya – I’m pumped your new to this as well. We will definitely have to motivate each other. Keep me pumped haha!!

I’ll be doing Figure – and I definitely have some work to do. I also need to take in more calories. I was completely forgetting to eat sometimes as I would get busy with work :/ Not eating was definitely making the cardio I was doing too much – you’re right there Kelley.

I’m also a pale girl haha. I hope to get some suggestions on good tanning product that won’t waste money.

  10. Hey Jorie,

Looking great! I don’t know how far in you are with your nutrition, training, etc.., but you just keep “hammering the nail.” The results will keep coming. You’ve got a great build. Just focus on what matters-the diet and training. You can speed up the process by integrating some kettlebell work! LOL. You know I had to throw that in there. However, it will help to round off your traps, shoulders, and lats pretty quickly. It will also spike your metabolism with the inclusion of the multi-joint and multi-planar movement you get from the style of training that the kettlebell offers. I’ll be glad to help you with technique if you aren’t familiar. Keep up the good work!

    Your Friend,
    Brandon
