Stretching Video

One thing that I have never had the motivation to do is stretch. I am the most inflexible person in the world. I equate stretching to a fate somewhere between the dentist and a NYC subway on a 97 degree day in August. I didn’t even stretch before I ran my marathon.

Not that I’m advocating abstaining from stretching. Quite the contrary. Stretching is a vital part of your overall fitness health and I am remiss from espousing it from my workout routine.

A good friend of mine is an avid stretcher and constantly tries to get me into the routine. I have put some effort into it and now I at least try to touch my touches before going for a run. But don’t be like me. Stretching is an integral part of your fitness routine.

I found this video below and wanted to share it. It gives a good introduction to some safe and effective stretching exercises. After watching the video I’m going to try to follow this routine. I hope you will too.
