Bad technique can have adverse consequences on your health. How many times do you look around your gym and see people engaging in horrible form on the bench press or squat machine? What are they doing, you say to yourself.
The culprits of these sad attempts of workout movements are often vanity and machismo. People want to bench more, squat more, and lift more. They sacrifice technique and form for weight. But what’s the added benefit? You lift more weight but the damage you to do your core and ligaments cancels out any mass that you might be gaining.
You want to lift heavy weights? Go watch bodybuilder and see how delicately they workout. You won’t see any arching backs, or straining leg compressions.
Bad form= bad health
